All battle engineers annoy me. Mini-sentries honestly need a nerf. The invisible building thing worsens the problem even more since I can't even destroy them during building. Childish of me I know, but if there are two or more camping engis or mini sentry people on Turbine, I go demo, spend time taking out the sentries and then I go to the entrance door of their spawn and spam grenades up to their actual spawn and just generally make them annoyed.

Gives me a very immature sense of satisfaction since Engineer is my most hated class. I have no problem with normal sentries tbh, but mini-sentries can just be spammed over and over again by picking up metal, which exists in weapons and some maps have heaps of ammo locations... Going against one as a scout is ridiculous and no matter how good you are, you take a considerable amount of damage ( if not dying ) in order to destroy it... Loch n load and direct hit help, but yeah, nerf pls kthx.

Then why don't you give combat engie a go yourself :o? Its really fun and in my opinion, it isn't op. Maybe just 30% faster firing speed instead of 50% and it should be fine

I don't go combat engi because there isn't anything to be gained from playing it a lot. I generally dislike the engineer class, nothing very skill-based, just remembering when to run away, sentry spots etc. I don't like playing heavy, but I admire people who are skilled at it, some Highlander heavies are extremely impressive, engineer just bores me. Only aspect of the class I like is the Widowmaker, Short Circuit and Sentry Jumping.

I do remember a time when I sentry jumped on 2fort bridges to camp and annoy people. Got banned from the server it was on, GG server for doing it XD

I believe the mini-sentry should:
a) Have a reduced firing speed
b) Not have a buffed health during set-up time ( it's ridiculous, 2- 3 shots from a rocket to take a building sentry down? C'mon. )

I love combat engineer it's my most enjoyable class, because I can sit there and literally do nothing. how could you nerf a mini-sentry! If you can't take one down, then you're retarded. But I guess that's fair because of that stupid invisible build glitch. Gaben fix pls.

I really enjoy my combat engineer, and it can be a very powerful, but hard to use loadout at times. Using scripts doesn't help in my opinion, so I go all natural.

If done correctly, you can be a force to be reckoned with.

It's also my 2nd favourite "class"

I wouldn't use scripts to begin with, It makes me feel too cheap. I'm pretty sure we've combat engineered together on 2fort before.
